Calma enters the football world’s biggest stage. On 18th September 2025, Mark Flekken walked out of the tunnel for a Champions League fixture for the first time in his career accompanied by his bespoke Profi Flekks gloves, a huge moment for our brand.
"Playing in the Champions League is a dream come true for me. I took a few diversions, including via the third division and 2. Bundesliga. Now I'm at a great club”.
Flekken does not have the conventional backstory leading him to this milestone and in fact is well known in Germany for his career of grinding through the 3 German leagues across his career before landing in the Champions League. His story is credited to his endless hard work.
On the night, the task at hand was an opening day away trip to Copenhagen in search of a great start to their Champions League campaign. Flekken rose to the occasion making 5 saves, earning his side a 2-2 draw in an action packed encounter that could have gone either way.
